This calculation shows, that Globarstar have nearly twice the capacity with same like a investment. This is also, why Iridium can offer data transmissions only 2400 bps and Globalstar 9600 bps. As Iridium calculated 100 000 subscribers, have Globalstar calculated a 1 000 000 subscribers? How much minutes one Iridium customer now uses the phone? What will be the Globalstar estimation with sheeper pricing?
