Dear Delbert, Not at all Del. God can do anything that he pleases. But it pleases God to teach us to LEAN on (TRUST) him. God created Lucifer and he was a wonderful strong, and beautiful angel. When he turned against God with his PRIDE, God could have destroyed him, but he didn't. He is allowing satan to do that. God gave everything for and to human life, (his children). He gave his son. We have this period of Grace to make a choice for our life. There were places Jesus traveled where he could not heal. This was due to their lack of faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by The Word Of God. So God can do as he pleases; it pleases God for his children to follow the example of Jesus. Yes I also remember when the Hurricane was coming towards Virginia Beach, and it did turn away,.......thru FAITH. aa
