GVT - <who is Bob Pisani?> CNBC "reporter" who generally covers the action at the NYSE. I believe Paul E. calls him "Gas Can Bob" due to his propensity to figuratively take minutia, pour gasoline on it, light it on fire, fan the flames, and then report on the subsequent fire. PB

GV - Re: "who is Bob Pisani? " He's a whiny CNBC Business reporter - whose trademark is to comment that any rally (or good news) in the market place is really not good because of a variety of reasons - low sales volume, cold temperatures in Miami, etc. On the flip side, when there is a major sell of or panic in the market, Pisani is out throwing "gas on the fire", announcing 12 reasons why the end of capitalism is at hand.
