From Briefing.com this AM on their additions and deletions to Core portfolio:
'Though many of you have emailed Briefing.com concerning the performance of "Core" candidates, Dell (DELL 35 3/4) and Keane (KEA 28 3/4), neither stock is being removed. Though down by 4% and 22%, respectively, Briefing.com contends that the long-term fundamentals remain solid for both companies. Recent weakness also leaves DELL & KEA attractively priced for patient investors, seeking quality holdings to provide better than market capital appreciation.'

scott, RE: I would bet that Janus still has one of the larger positions in DELL -- for a mutual fund family.

FYI, Janus is the third largest mutual fund holder. #1 is Alliance (107mm shares), and #2 is BZW Barclays (71mm shares) The Barclays money isn't actively managed for the most part, so their investment in DELL is by default rather than by decision.
