VRDE up on great news ! MORE TO COME...

biz.yahoo.com

From RB last night :

Friend spoke with VRDE IR...

and emailed me this :

He said that there is a "big acquisition" going to be announced, which will allow them to distribute and sell their product much easier than in the past."

"This should get the price popping back up over 20 cents quite easily."

He has previewed some of the e-commerce site and it should be up soon, with news release to promote it.

When asked of other developments, he stated that there will be several happenings which will allow them to "put the pedal to the metal to generate further revenues."

He was aware of the stock's current price, which we referred to as "treading water" and expressed an intent to get the price moving.

SW - Bought Socket Communications (BB: SCKT, SCKTW). Interesting speculation currently at .55 to .59. Maker of connection devices for Windows CE-based PC's and other devices for use in networking, bar code scanning, data communications and wireless Internet connectivity. Deals announced with MOT, CPQ, MSFT, UNISYS, Symbol Technologies and Zebra Technologies. Also, new deal last week with Bell Mobility (affiliate of Bell Canada) for Digital Phone Card for wireless Internet access. About 15 million fully diluted shares giving it a micro-cap valuation. Balance sheet needs help but the co. has hired Spencer, Trask, NY investment bankers for sources of capital. Are you familiar with SCKT? TIA. Regards.

CLIXhealth.com, Inc. Announces Launch of E-commerce Business

WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 1999--CLIXhealth.com, Inc., (OTC BB:CLIX), announced that the joint venture between CLIX subsidiary, VitalBody, Inc. and the National Anti-Aging Institute is now in full operation. The joint venture was formed to promote an e-commerce site to sell nutritional supplements. The site address is www.theanti-aginginstitute.com.

CLIXhealth.com Chairman, Timothy W. Cunningham, stated, "This site is one of the more informative and complete sites selling nutritional supplements on the Web. No products are being sold without a solid foundation of research and clinical experience behind them. Web site promotion began with Dr. Fox's radio program in Southern California, and we have begun to get numerous hits. Additionally, we are negotiating to webcast Dr. Fox's program, and to promote an 'anti-aging minute' in 68 markets around the country."

VitalBody also announced the first of a series of custom formulated products developed by the National Anti-Aging Institute. Known as Formula 151, the product is aimed at supporting men with erectile dysfunction without using the alkaloid herbal compounds that have been shown to have side effects. Other custom formulated products for pain management, hair loss, weight management, stress and depression are currently under development by the Institute.

In related news, VitalBody announced it was exploring the use of direct marketing to promote and sell Institute products. It is estimated that the network sales channel accounted for $3.5 billion of 1998 nutritional supplement sales. Mr. Cunningham said, "We intend to take a proven sales method and adapt this successful business model to use the power of the Internet to allow distributors to deliver customized responses to customers' specific health concerns."
