Revisiting the Dell Mystery......

The "no announcement" Dell relationship may be more important than acknowledged to now. I suspect DRIV wanted a standard two year deal, Dell was hesitating. But Dell wanted the TSQD position once the shell was available sans DTPdirect. They agreed on a first stage, DRIV on the site but only as a transfer with disclaimer from Dell. (This probably galled Ronning, as I have never seen such a disclaimer on any other retailer's website; rather demeaning, esp considering DRIV's existing track record.) Result: no two years, kind of month-to-month rental and.....we'll see.

Point is, they are dancing, if close to the door. When all goes well, as I believe it will, they should solidify things down the road.

This could well include a TSQD deal. My impression is that the DTP business will be spun-off shortly. The action in that stock is in sync with such speculation.

Cheers,
David
