mile,
i know at least 3 thread members who have the dataquest official estimate. i do not have the report yet. i was going to ask one of them to answer but i think they are prohibited from sharing the info in the report.
i have been told that the official estimate is for 60 billion in 2001 and 104 billion in 2002.

according to thompson institutional watch someone is trying to buy 200,000 shares.

thought occurred to me. we are assuming 6 million shorts, but we may have picked up more on the false ibm fud.

Yeah, I have to agree. I think we'd be lucky to see a DRAM market at $50 billion by 2002. But even then, it sure does look rosy for Rambus.
