The way the stock is going, Big Al, you had this contest wired from the start. I still believe this is the product of a terribly mismanaged offering by Merrill. The company would do best now to cancel the secondary. It would certainly be painful for the traders and investment bankers who are shorting with impunity, since they know plenty of shares will be available for covering on the offering. It would probably not put the stock back to even the pre-announcement level (despite the fact that most other net-related shares have rallied since then). This was a mistake from the getgo.

So I gather that the majority of ppl here feel that CKFR is a "strong buy" here at $35-7/8?

hehe.

Just kidding, folks. Man, amazing how a stock manages to do the opposite of what the majority think, time and again.

Since I've been lurking at CKFR call options, I'm sure glad I've stayed lurking at the prices and not buying any! (yet).

Do I feel lucky, and do I feel brave?

decisions, decisions. I'm thinking out to November, when interest in online banking maybe be foremost in ppl's minds, as lots of more banks will be debuting their online banking for consumer account customers.
