You need the big wheels for that though. So the slower ones are probably working harder. But I don't see why its different from bicycling either. If bicycling is a sport then rollerblading is a sport.

Free the rollerblades from their non-sport stigma!

(Only Bill Vaughn thinks rollerblades are a pretend-sport but thats because he is a pretend-coach)
