Hi Joan, I may be telling you something you already know, but there are Star Trek fans who write gay porno with Kirk and Spock as lovers. A couple of people I used to hang out with in New Orleans were into stuff like that. Truly bizarre. IMHO.

Just waitaseckint. I like Spock. I don't worship him. Captain Kirk never did it for me. Jean-Luc Picard - now there's a guy I'd like to sit across at dinner.
Fwiw, they recently re-ran the first-run Star Trek shows on cable fully restored. It took me this long to figure out what an implausibly conflicted character Spock really is. Unemotional my left foot.
