WBM,

These sock puppets and talking heads on CNBC are really starting to tick me off. Problem is, I don't think that they are going to let up on DELL for the balance of the year, IMO.

Seems almost criminal.

Best to you...Garry

DELL should hold a press conference and set the record straight on Y2K projections....Recently MSD and Mort have stated that Y2K will not impact sales or earnings in a major way...You and I heard Tom Meredith address this on the Merrill Lynch Conf. Call. I would TRUST him much more than some DLJ ANALysts. Today DLJ is still pounding the table on EMC, SUNW and GTW. And should we forget about DELL? I can understand concerns about CPQ and Y2K execution. Yet, I would expect DELL to admit a Y2K impact IF they felt it was real. So far DELL has remained bullish. Oh well, maybe DELL will address this issue at that wonderful Pain Webber Technology Conference <GG> !!

Best Regards,

Scott

Hey, WBM and everyone else: I did something right for a change: bought back my Qwst puts at a good profit (sold at 2 bought back at 75C...although actually I would have liked to own qwest but oh well) and sold Dell Jan 01 35's for almost $9. Hope it works...used to money to buy more NITE though... will go back to buying DELL when the yr 2000 thing isnt so prominent and horrid.
