"we don't know who is behind these computer screens...so we should be careful of what we say"

how orwellian of a concept, and for a moment i thought i lived in a country that allowed free speech....politically correct or not

"there are white people in parts of the world that are discriminated against"

you missed my point, i gave specific examples of "white people", who were and in some instances are still discriminated against in the good ole usa...

WHO ARE THESE DASTARDLY "WHITE PEOPLE"....

do you find offense in the slaughter of innocent serbs, because they are led by a "neo hitler", isn't calling one "hitler" not politically correct?....what is more offensive in your mind, the use of the word "jap", "nip", whatever, or the decimation of the populations of hiroshima or nagasaki by nuclear bombs....

I'M A BIT OLDER THAN YOU, SEEN ONE HELLUVA LOT MORE THAN YOU,NEVER SAW ANYONE FATALLY HARMED BY A WORD,NO MATTER HOW NASTY OR DEGRADING THAT WORD MAY BE....ON THE OTHER HAND, HIGH ALTITUDE BOMBING, ALTHOUGH VERY IMPERSONAL MADE AN IMPRESSION ON ME......AND WHEN THE FIRE FALLS FROM THE SKY, IT DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE BETWEEN FRIEND OR FOE....

so instead of being the word police, let people speak, and if they speak out of ignorance,or share different views, you don't have to listen...but you lose the ability to learn from the ways of ignorance, because in life you can attempt to control one's words, but not what is in their heart, sort of like, "a barking dog doesn't bite" lesson....learn, don't stand in judgment,learn...and if your personal sensitivities are still offended, then change the channel.....
