I hope your computations are flawed as to the bigger picture. I haven't found the max pain issue to be extremely predictive of anything. How about you?

Obviously, it is the near term that is more important to me than down the road. Clearly, the "real" Y2K concerns are going to come into this market sometime. I just "feel" that it won't happen until we get past the July earnings reports, which I show will have a healthy 15% year over year gain for the Big Boyz.

Also, when it comes to max pain on INTC, it is my understanding that INTC is actually in the options game on there treasury stock and I've just not done the analysis to see how this affects the figures.

In any case, it is clearly not healthy yet and won't be until it gets past $55. But, I'll ride the slippery slope of hope.
