I'm not concerned about Y2K as Dell products were fixed years ago and even older systems have been revalidated and new bios releases are available. In a big storm even those under an umbrella sometimes get wet. Dell could be affected if some customers decide not to buy anything until january (I haven't seen any indication but orders often aren't placed until someone wants the machine). There could be all sorts of lawsuits. I suspect there are some lawyers who plan to sue everyone and see if anything sticks. This could be a distraction, but it's unlikly to be a major one. The number one problem is that there are some really grand new years parties planned and I don't know if everyone is going to be up for answering the phones the next day.
