More info on Primex: bloomberg.com Sounds like they are hoping to come online in the first or second quarter next year. That is so far away, that I wouldn't place too much interest in them yet. Too much can happen between now and then. Just my opinion. -Eric

Raymond... <To paraphrase: When trading with ECNs, you are getting the tail end of the action, with little to no interaction with the MMs and the main market. With Primex, you will get better connectivity to the market action and the major benefit of Primex is the opportunity for price improvement> I'm very green at trading, so this may be a very basic question. I thought the push was towards an all electronic trading system anyway, that was buyer-to-seller, seller-to-buyer, with the aim of bypassing the MM's completely? Have heard they are known for manipulating prices and playing games with stocks? Or are the stories exaggerated? Tnx, Snerd
