I like your post Jason except for the buy and hold till it tanks later statement...

Daytrading is not necessarily the best way to profit, actually buying and holding historically has proved to fare much better - not that I am advocating one over the other, as a matter of fact I do both for a hybrid approach - daytrading to release the intense desire to trade, and buy and hold to make GREAT $$$ and limit my Fed Tax to 20%...in the 39.6% bracket any daytrading automatically takes a 20% hit versus my long term holds...

I made money on ACVC also yesterday after you posted, it was a nice run. Nobody said to hold it til the cows come home, just hold long enough to make what you think the news was worth. The whiners are the ones who hoped for more today and didn't get it, that's the chance you take. They certainly wouldn't have bitched if it gapped up this morning. Incidentally, it opened higher than yesterday's close and is still higher than when the news was posted first yesterday.
