MESSAGE TO PALLAURA ON YAHOO THREAD:

I think it is unwise to start making predictions of specific OEM wins , eg IBM, as it can come back to bite the longs later and label the longs/supporters as a bunch of hypesters..You may indeed have excellent sources/G-2 on Big Blue, but the unsubstantiated rumors I have heard tend to lend credence to the 1 year old predictions of Mr Sardina and the most recent Mr a_rapport regarding the weather ( BTW, I believe a_rapport is a Brocade insider who has cleverly tried to pass himself off as a Vixel guy.).PALLURA, if you have better G-2 than what is going on in Raleigh, then feel free to say so..my guess is that west coast people ( SSD )are currently calling the shots but that is just my deduction and not based on any reliable info.

What the Ancor detractors do not understand is the significance of the Sun win as far as how fast and how much it will ramp as opposed to the Blue company that may be 6-12 months away from any significant ramp...all IMHO. Shorts like to point out the lousy numbers in past 12 months..that is old news..Smart Money knows the order of magnitude that Sun represents to Ancor revenue ramp in second half of 1999.

ps- Alliances are built and broken/stolen on both sides..reminds me of a chess game where 2 sides take each others pawns..Isn't this fun?
