Hi Carl, I still have my IRA with Schwab, but I don't do much business with him simply due to his $29.95 commission. These days I think it's ridiculous to pay that kind of money for the little work they do. I don't daytrade, as I've already mentioned. In fact, 2-3 trades a week is lots of activity for me. Still, daytrading intrigues me. I'm about 2 years away from retirement. I'm a widower with no one expecting me to "do right". So, I can realistically see myself getting more active with my trading. This thread is part of my learning process. Ken
