Does Redhat 6 run on fat32 formatted drives?

Linux runs on ext2-formatted (Linux native) partitions. Redhat can access fat32 partitions but I believe that you must install it on ext2-formatted partitions. The installation program will reformat and repartition the drive for you.

Folks,

Please post your technical questions about RedHat somewhere else. This board is to discuss or exchange ideas in regards the $$$ side of the IPO. I is not for: how to build kernels, clean filesystems etc. If you need tech support got to www.redhat.com and read their FAQs.

Thanks,

-Ed
