I don't doubt that, I just wonder what would make it move higher.

Gold 261 and dropping 30 yr tb 5.985 percent and rising, something has to give. Yen 119.10

Don

Gold at 250 ? Going to Hit 150

Once it breaks through 250, she is going to slide faster than a pig in grease.

For whatever reason, the Central Banks are trying to get rid of the gold standard. Its the US greenback all the way. Should prove interesting. I wonder hat will happen if the US$ fails? I don't understand why everyone is still in love with the US$, considering the current account deficit. Still, I hope that they will buy Canada (and bring some of my stocks back up).

Hey - maybe we can go on the diamond standard ! If everything coes well, the NWT will prove the new driving force in Canada.

Oh well, I am getting tired of the crap that goes on with gold. Why did the Brits decide to sell off a significant proportion of their reserves when gold is near (everyone though it was an all time low, until the announcement) an all time low? Lousy SOB's have screwed up all my gold stocks.

Oh well, maybe I should buy some .com stocks. They don't make any money either, but certainly are considered more valuable.

Cheers
