All things considered, including a significant rise in volume, we're not doing badly today. I'm actually a little impressed! Not happy, but impressed.
All the possible bad news priced in?

EL--- <<" 29 by year's end now may be difficult to achieve. El">> Possibly the only way to make money on this POS,,,I think if you bet it does not see 29 this year that may be the real play! Not whinning just calling it like the POS it has become. They really have nothing to say --- no support so it looks like K is right again on EPS,, if so his "mid teens" will be correct also... the only positive I see is it MAY be higher by year end for the tax write off.. possibly another bad cpq bet..

El, I called IR at 4 pm today and asked if they were giving any guidance. The answer was that here is no guidance being given at this time. The rational is that they are still determining the financial condition of the company, and when that determination is made then there will be more information provided to investors on a frequent basis as promised by Rosen. They have no date yet for release of the second quarter earnings report. I mentioned that we are coming up to the quiet period and there have been given no financial press releases since the release of the 1Q earnings report. I mentioned that I was disappointed that there has been no guidance for this quarter, and that a number of analysts are coming out with negative information. In light of all the negative recent events, I requested that investors be provided more information. I suggested that no news is probably going to be interpreted as bad news, so that if we have bad news coming I would rather hear it than not be warned. I requested my concerns be pass to higher levels of management and the IR representative agreed to do that.

My impression was that the IR representative knew where I was coming from and sympathetic to my concerns, but that there is no guidance being given at this time. I guess I didn't accomplish anything, but for what it is worth I will put this on the record. Earlier today I sent and e-mail to IR, but have not yet received a response.
