rehow do you know?
Cute but Edamo: all you have to do is be down 10% from your highest point on your portfolio or that particular stock...either from the highest close since you bought it or the highest intraday, depending upon which one you use.
If you are wrong and it goes back up, you can wait and be sure its for real and buy back in...but if you decide not to...you actually have locked in a gain!!!!
I saw many of my stocks going down from their "highs" and could tell they were not acting happy...but was 100% bullish and let it go, to my detriment.

Good Afternoon Edamo and All

I would like to publicly ask all on this thread for your opinion regarding the following:

Can you explain something that has been troubling me for quite some time. I suspect that brokerage houses not only manipulate the stock market or certain issues whenever convenient but also they place their bets before making public upgrades or downgrades? Is this true and if so what can we do to stop this racattering?? Does this not look very peculiar that one day after Dell has the best upward move in a long time that the entire sector is downgraded by DLJ. Where is the outrage
and there must be something that can be done once in for all. I feel like these guys are ripping us off with our hand tied behind our backs.

Thanks for your thoughts
Frank
