Morgan, I learned something interesting (to me, anyway - everyone else probably already knew this<g>) from tech support today. Conditional buy/sell instructions are held by your own software, ie, on your own computer. It is not possible to relay a stop of any kind that will be held by the broker. However, I was told that if your system crashes, the server notes this and your conditional buy/sell stays in place for the balance of the day. If you log off, however - your conditional order is no more.

The down side is one can't very well travel without trailing/leading stops in place, so must go to cash. The upside is one can't very well travel without traliling/leading stops in place, so must go to cash - and enjoy trip.<g>

How is today any more critical than another? You had a risky trade in progress so today was critical to you.....in the scope of the Market it was just another day.

Airlines and Daytrading.....way off base here, I suggest you lobby your Congressman for laws and commisions to oversee your "financial wellbeing" if you feel necessary. Try to remember that most of this technology is still in its infancy compared to Airlines. A little history research will reveal to you years of plane crashes before relative safety in the air.

Ultimately if you choose to take the risk you did with 4 lots then you better be ready to absorb that risk!........its called a risk/reward ratio.

Cyber has been a very reliable system as of late........if your not happy then exercise your right to try another. I have and will remain here.
