Hawaii and IDTC fans,

Do you all see IDTC entering into Windows CE terrain? I think a "killer app" for Net-2-Phone would be a CE version along with a headset that would allow P/PC and H/PC users to access long distance from a local ISP while on the road. The trouble is that not all devices have jacks with both listening and speaking functions (My NEC MobilePro 770 does, but it is a mono output) and without it the problem with echos and feedback is intolerable. Also, the voice notation functions currently available on most handheld PC's suggest either the built-in mic or the speaker is crappy (maybe both).

Fundamentally, I am against the notion of a cell phone housing a PDA. A PDA housing a phone is much better for the business traveller. Also, Net-2-Phone has to have some mobility. I think confining it to a desktop is a mistake.

Get IDTC to work on a CE version of Net2Phone and also a CompactFlash insert that can allow acceptable headset functionality to facilitate telephony-on-the-go.

Any additional functionality built into the CF standard would be appreciated!!!
