Dear Dan;

The nation of Israel has been a blessing on this earth. Like them I have often chosen cactus. I am so grateful that God is a loving God. He certainly has had ample reason to give up on me as well.

Praise God for the example he has given us in his faithfulness to Israel. His promises to them are without repentance. I know His promises to me are likewise.

Barukh atah Adonai, eloheinu melekh ha-olam, hatov vehametiv.

Consider that even all He promised to make them, they still fell away time after time. As do we to this day.

Yes and what patience God must have to put up with all of us.... Jews are stubborn like Mules LOL.... You think this is heated get some Jews together who disagree on something and its a sight to behold... and something I cant explain for after all the yelling you will find that they embrace and go on.... I guess we are just argumentative... My grandmother was a hoot..... Cooked potato pancakes and we ate them like no tomorrow.... Since I was the only boy in the family her kisses were a bit messy and repetitive every time I visited her when I was 9 years old.... Hebrew came out of her mouth like a locomotive train as see hugged us and buried me in her affection.. Heck I could not understand a word she said but you cant hide love that spewed from her actions..... I witnessed her death at the hospital when I was 10 years old... When I looked at her I remembered the things she had done and the affection she displayed it was not easy watching her frail body get weaker and weaker.... God knew what love I had for my Grandmother and God also knows the gift of love that she displayed and the effect it had on my life... With Emile life is black and White God is NOT black and White if he was the human race would have been destroyed a long time ago. She was buried in a pine coffin a few boards nailed together and not finished at all.... To this day I remember that pine coffin and what beauty it held within it....
