What delay are you talking about? Are you assuming the court decision will be upheld and that T will stop BB? The facts (99% acceptance of the status quo) clearly state the opposite.

All of the media coverage I have read or seen said that T will appeal this opening of their pipes. Whether T wins or loses this battle in court the fact remains that the appeal process will take YEARS. In the mean time AOL will roll happily along with their plans to deploy high speed connection using wireless satellite, high speed modem, DSL and other methods. AOL has 50% of the worlds Internet subscribers as their customers. Last count was 17 million. Not all 17n million will want a $120 a month cable connection. Some will want DSL or others will only want the mobility that a wireless modem will offer.

Cable is one thing. DSL is entirely another. Phone connections to modem still another. High speed copper wire access still another. There is a market for each of these price range connections as well as the flexibility each affords.

AOL is the only one going after them all at once.

Why is ATHM limiting itself to such a narrow audience? I see them as a buy out candidate.

Each company will proper but only one will be king, the ISP with the most eye balls wins!!
