maybe that's why he quit actively trading in the 60s and started the newspaper instead. and he got richer off his newspaper and books than he did in the market.

Sigh, yes I do see your point.
I guess I'm thinking of AOL at 175 and CMGI at 330 (post split) and musing how nice it would have been....and worth the taxes....to have been out 10% below that and back in now!
Dell at $26? I sold 10 DELL '01 puts for strike price 35 and got $8 7/8 for them. Now if my margin doesnt trip me up.....
