Idea: closed-captioning...

I don't know if this has been discussed here before, but CNBC is closed-captioned. This makes for some intriguiging possibilities if you have a TV card for your PC that supports closed-captioning.

I just got a Rainbow Runner G-Series for my Matrox display card, and it supports CC and saving the CC text to a file.

You can scroll-back a bit on the on-screen display, and save the whole day's text in a file.

Great for that company name you didn't quite get! (Or restroom breaks. :) )

(BTW, Matrox just released the beta NT drivers for the Rainbow Runner G-Series and Marvel, so you don't need 95 or 98 any more.)
