K. L. - As I understand it, API "revised" the week previous numbers DOWN about 1 mill barrels. So last weeks numbers SHOULD have been a draw of over 2 million barrels instead of what was reported. That means last weeks numbers should have been ~ 329.1 correct? So basically for the last three weeks (inclusive)we've had a draw on crude of approximately 3.4 million barrels. Not great, but not a disaster either. Still, by this time, with all the OPEC cuts and imports being down, one would think we would start getting better draw numbers than this. Have you kept track of the DOE numbers for the last 3 weeks? After tomorrows report maybe the thread could compare them. As I recall, last weeks DOE numbers were pretty radically different from API.

It really is a pity that timely and accurate data can not be had from these agencies.

An open letter to OPEC in general and Saudi Arabia in particular:

If you want the world to believe that Brent crude prices will reach $18 - $20 SOON, then concentrate your cuts in the US and European markets. This is where the prices are largely determined. Make the cuts large, make them publicly, and do it NOW! Actions speak louder than words spoken at press conferences.

US inventory numbers need to start heading rapidly toward 320 MB for you to obtain the price your agents may state you desire, in public or private to members of the financial(or other) press. This post is NOT intend as criticism, just as a suggestion. The suggestion is made CONSTRUCTIVELY and with no malice whatsoever, nor do I claim or imply any false statements made on your (collectively or individually) parts at any time.

Best Wishes

Bull
