Bill, I see you made a full disclosure tonight. I am shocked that with the opinions you have that you are actually short stocks or long puts. <vbg> But I understand the pressure. You should have heard the crap my lawyers were worried about when I ran mutual funds.

My feeling is, anyone who can read The Market Rap and not know that you are short or long puts on certain issues, is a pretty dim bulb. But lawyers have to prepare disclosures for the lowest common denominator.

I remember one time when I gave a speech at the International Association of Financial Planners annual meeting in Atlanta, my lawyers wanted me to say that I was positive on bonds because I owned more long Treasuries than anyone else in the mutual fund business. I turned it around and said I was long Treasuries because I'm positive on bonds, which was the truth and covered the same ground, IMHO. <G>
