Roader even Michael Dell doesn't discuss his distribution channel and certainly he didn't in the early days when it was being built. If you ask over on the Dell thread what is the Dell story all about, 99% of them will tell you Dells primary advantage is "customer satisfaction". In fact it is leveraging other people's R&D investment and building things cheaper. But it isn't pitched that way. I don't want Bezos getting up there discussing the customizations he just made to the Manugistics logistics package, not only is it boring its also stupid from a competitive advantage. Having said that, was there anything good about the presentation that you could see? Any clues as to new mkts etc? Thanks, I'm sorry I missed this one.
