Daniel..I like a company that has the growth before it has an internet "alliance"...example is MATT which offers an internet catalog...to users of its products...clients like The Practice, Allie McBeal and movies..The Mouse Hunt etc.It then just becomes the icing on the cake.
It is the way of the future..can't stop progress.

Hi Daniel, I agree I went short at close based on Thomson I-Watch Mid-day Update, "Similarly, the pre-trade indications from institutional brokers on I-Watch are extremely light with a heavy bias toward sellers." I am expecting institutional brokers to come in selling in the morning. If not I'll run for cover and short at the next close.

08-Jun-99 11:06:22 Shares of Infoseek have surged $6 1/8 to $49 1/8 on news that Disney is considering the possibility of buying the remaining 57% stake of SEEK it does not already own. Infoseek is trading off its intra-day high of $51 3/4. A review of this morning's trading data indicates today's rise can be traced back to speculative buying by day traders, both professional and retail. A tiny 3.2% of the 4.7 million shares exchanged today resulted from block transactions. Daniel, I don't care about Disney management ... they are an interesting bunch ..... but ole Motro seems a nice, straight forward guy who perhaps isn't comfortable withn the politics at Disney ... especially if he's losing the people he brought in at SEEK. Just my impression.....
