Bell Atlantic Mobile Offers Unlimited 'Mobile-to-Mobile'
Calling for $10 a Month

BEDMINSTER, N.J., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Since March of 1998, Bell Atlantic Mobile has
offered its wireless digital customers in every one of its markets unlimited ''mobile-to-mobile'' calling
to and from any other Bell Atlantic Mobile subscriber in the local calling area. The service is
available as an option for an additional $9.99 a month, on top of their regular service plan, and has
proven very popular with mobile workgroups in businesses large and small -- from realtors, to
companies with a fleet of business travelers to untethered staffs at stadiums and convention centers.

According to Jack Plating, Bell Atlantic Mobile's chief operating officer, this ''all-you-can-use'' plan
has been very popular among workgroup customers who communicate frequently with other digital
phone users on the Bell Atlantic Mobile network, because it's offered at a competitive, predictable
price point. And unlike other carriers' plans, there's no limit to the number of subscribers within a
workgroup.

''After completing our digital deployment in all our markets early last year, we focused our efforts
on developing service packages that make digital service more accessible to all types of customers
with varying usage requirements,'' said Plating. ''This mobile-to-mobile plan has really fit the bill
among mobile workers needing an affordable solution for ongoing group communications.''

In the New York, Boston, Washington/Baltimore and Pittsburgh markets, Bell Atlantic Mobile was
named leader in overall customer satisfaction among wireless users, according to the prestigious
J.D. Power and Associates 1998 U.S. Wireless Customer Satisfaction Study(SM).

Bell Atlantic Mobile owns and operates the largest wireless network in the East, covering 120,000
square miles, and the largest chain of retail outlets devoted exclusively to wireless voice, data and
paging. Based in Bedminster, NJ, Bell Atlantic Mobile has 6.4 million customers and 8,000
employees from Maine to Georgia and, through a separate subsidiary, in the Southwest. Through its
''Wireless at Work ... '' community service program, the company uses its technology to help
individuals and communities improve security and emergency communications. Bell Atlantic
Mobile's parent, Bell Atlantic Corporation (NYSE: BEL - news) is one of the world's largest
wireless communications companies, with domestic operations in 25 states and international
investments in Mexico, Europe and the Pacific Rim. For more information on Bell Atlantic Mobile

BitCash Card Can be Purchased Online in Japan

June 8, 1999 (TOKYO) -- BitCash Inc. has developed an online sales system for the
Virtual BitCash Card, a pre-paid card for the BitCash settlement system for small
amounts on the Internet.

This system is designed mainly for Internet service providers that sell prepaid cards
to their members. BitCash said it is now in talks with several firms to start the service
around August of this year.

There are two types of BitCash prepaid cards: the BitCash Card available at
bookstores and other retail stores and the BitCash Sheet for purchase from
multimedia guidance terminals at convenience stores. When settlement key words (16
characters) printed on each card are input and transmitted, accounts are settled for
cyber shopping.

The Virtual BitCash Card enables users to purchase goods using the key words via
the Internet. When a user inputs and sends his or her membership information on the
Web page, an image of the real BitCash Card is displayed and the key words are
assigned to the user on the image. Purchases on the Virtual BitCash Card are made as
a billing issued by the provider to the user.

During a free trial period for BitCash from June 1 to Aug. 31, BitCash is offering a
free trial version of BitCash Cards/Sheets through attachments to magazines,
distribution at convenience stores, and so on. As part of this campaign, members of
Acosis, Acom Co., Ltd.'s credit card service, can receive a free trial version of the
Virtual BitCash Card on Acosis' home page.
