Hi George, A question for you or anyone else that could educate me on something. Currently when transferring files onto a website, you have to use FTP. As the internet evolves (i.e. if and when SANs and WANs do merge) what type of technology would be used to transfer/store personal data on an internet storage farm from the edge of the internet. For example, in the not too distant future, if they made wireless video cameras that sent your video feed over the internet to your storage site, what storage technology would be involved in transferring the data? Or when transferring a file.

Could you picture a WAN/SAN internet utilizing Fibre Channel, achieving this? Would multicasting be involved if you sent the video feed to friends storage locations as it was streaming over the net?

Thanks,
JW

George,

I really dont know much about BRCD and since it is so new I really do not have a handle on the daily volume.

However, from my experience, low volume stocks are just easily manipulated.
