Hi Yogi,

I agree with your assessment.... I am long term bullish on the grains, based on the tea leaves I read. At the same time, it is up to the market to head higher, and so far it has been slow to do that. I want to think that we are at or near an important historical low, but I've been thinking that for the past few months. <g> I'll try and let the market tip me off to the next big move.... whichever direction.

Do you see anything in the charts and or cycles that would suggest the possibility of this happening to you?

Yes. I'm too lazy to post it here right now, most of my thinking about the long term prospects of the grains has already been shared on the grain futures thread. Feel free to hunt around there, as there aren't that many posts. <g>

aside from my long term bean charts, this guy posts some nice charts for both beans and corn, with yields, as well as inflation adjusted charts.... FWIW.
