David Cook's ex-wife is one of my close friends and the TRUE founder of Blockbusters. Her idea, her name. David had the savvy to expand and take it public. They were dominant in the company for several years, selling franchises etc before the sale to a company based in Florida. That is straight from the horse's mouth. I invested when I saw David buy back Amtech--knew something was brewing. Sold in teens when it became obvious that music on net wasn't going to fly. So I missed the big surge, but have great doubts as to solidity of current 'product.' It was like they had to scramble to find a vehicle after the music idea faltered. Ex-wife is not involved in this in any way and no longer even speaks with David that much.
