Gordon, I don't know how the cells of the size Delphi envisions perform under typical driving conditions. I only heard that Delphi was pleased enough to move ahead with the project. Need it be a 'lifetime' battery? (And is that 3, 5, or 10 or more years?) Customers would have to rely on OEM (Delphi) replacements, which might be another motivation for Delphi. <G> While replacements would probably not be available at K-Mart, customers could get them through any auto supply store. Doesn't seem like a big hurdle to me. Shoot, lots of people just take the car to the mechanic and say 'Fix it!' anyway.
