Hi Jeff, and Hi Bobby! Welcome to the thread Bobby. ********* I'd like to say this about Tim: I miss him. I am not sure why he left, but everyone please give him the respect that is due. Overall, I'd say Tim helped a lot of people. He probably helped a lot of people hold onto more of their own hard earned money, (by investing in the same stocks that he was investing in,) than they otherwise would have. I doubt these stocks were the only holdings of Tims. But he shared with us, some very good picks, that are in play for takeovers. It is up to each one of us to do our own DD on stocks before pulling the trigger. If the picks of this thread, or any thread, are your only source of information before making decisions on which stocks you invest in, then you will loose all of your money. Guaranteed! Nobody held a gun to your head and said "Buy this stock!" Nobody held a gun to your head and said "Read the Wicked Thread!" You did it all voluntarily. Now, if your decisions, based on the information you have received on this thread, have left you frustrated - or with less investment capital, then you should STOP. STOP what you are doing right now. Take some of that money, and invest in yourself. You are the best investment you can make! I mean, take $500 to $5000 and take some classes on investing. Learn for YOURSELF how to make the right decisions. This is not an easy way to make money. We are all competitors against each other, in a small way. But we all get whacked by the Market Makers. They have a whole lot more money to throw around than we do, and if they want the stock to go up, they can force it up. If they want it to go down, they will force it down. Learn for yourself what constitutes the right conditions for a day trade. Do a lot of research on stock picking techniques. Do a lot of DD on the company you chose to invest in. Otherwise, you forfeit your money to the MM or one of us. It's that simple. I'm not going to sit here and critique Tim's picks for the crowd. I think Tim has learned (the hard way) about thinly traded issues. I doubt very seriously that Tim intended any harm to anyone in his picks. All of the research and DD a person can do - will not predict exactly when a Merger will take place. Tim repeatedly told us these are buy and hold opportunities. If buy and hold isn't your game, then you should not be buying Tim's picks. I hope we can put all of the bickering behind us. The thread really looks unattractive with the bickering going on, and if you'll notice, a lot more people than just Tim are absent. I would like to invite Tim and all the other absent members, to take whatever time off is needed, to heal whatever wounds have been stirred. And, I like to invite the thread members who are here, to remember to be courteous to your fellow thread members. We had a great thing going, let's not mess it up. Jack
