Jerry, I've been tripping since I first ran into you on these threads <g>

Hey, there are a lot of 6% re-allocation triggers out there. Once they kick in money just gets shifted or derivatized and momentum gets stuck in the mud for awhile. These airline fare wars will help the next cpi report.

A while back someone asked me if the Serbian war was inflationary.. well all military operations are, unless they capture or anex another's wealth (labor, commodities, shipping lanes, etc..) at a victor's price. With this conflict we will be paying out of pocket for the munitions, troops, transport, humanitarian aid and probably a good portion of rebuilding both countries. That's inflation.

Its the right thing to do.. but that's what its effect is.
