And ebay is a local company which means she went through the VC circus out here which is really tough. No matter what your background is these VCs exist to destroy you (unless of course you are a member of their icky old boys network and no woman is) .. who did ebay funding? If it was a top firm then she deserves it. I've been through the ringer with some of these firms and at this point I don't ever want to be involved with a company at that level again, thats how bad it is. I'll join at the second round which is fine.
