MICROSOFT CORP and SPRINT CORP launched communications services for small business customers. In a press release, Microsoft said the voice and data services, which will be available this summer, include hardware and software for private branch exchange, local area network, Internet and remote access server functions. With the services, businesses can use communications functions, including wireless and Internet services, in a single server. The services are based on Microsoft's BackOffice Small Business Server 4.5 and Sprint's Business Flex communication services. (Dow Jones)
