Pros and cons, unknowns, IMO: Here is a repost by me from the RagingBull thread. <<By: tedrika Reply To: 20 by BarryKSunday, 6 Jun 1999 at 1:51 PM EDT Post # of 37 Pros and cons, unknowns, IMO: Pros: 1. Real company, 600 clients 2. around 25 employees 3. Revenues growing significantly (read press releases on Website) 4. Very small market cap given number of employees 5. Price was 50 cents to a dollar only 12-18 months ago 6. Price decline was steady on virtually no news and with unremarkable volume 7. Technology available on multiple platform 8. Probably the market leader in a fragmented industry, 3 aquisitions in last year 9. Leading edge of an industry just beginning to jump on the technology bandwagon (nutrition software) 10. Virtually forgotten with many days of zero volume, yet some signs of recent strength until Thursday's large volume purchase, 10% of the total outstanding shares. 11. Good alliances, potential nice tie in to the HOT internet health sector 12. Consumer product coming out soon, said to be very personalized and interactive--more so than anything I've been able to find on the internet. It will serve a very large market segment for anyone desiring assistance with meal planning--from special medical nutritional needs, to athletes, to those desiring weight gain, stabilization, or weight loss, or simply those trying to eat healthy or more thrifty. Cons: 1. Revenues, while growing are still fairly low 2. Not fully reporting 3. Operating loss in 1998 4. 2-day rise from roughly .06 to .14 (hit .20 on Friday midday) makes a one day trade less appealing for those inclined to trade like that Unknowns 1. More recent financial picture >> These are the variables as I see them. All things considered I believe the stock is very attractive at the current .19-.23, even after a significant rise from the recent 52 week low of about .06. It was at .23 just about 8 months ago and the picture looks much brighter now than then IMO. The next several weeks and months look very promising to me. I'm just an observer, long on the stock and am in no way associated with the company. Good luck and as always, do your own DD Ted
