edamo, Dell can create their own community as well.

Those entering the DellNet homepage will see advertising and will be seeing Dell products and all computer/office accessories thru Gigabuys.com as they evolve.

This has the potential to completely change the market perception of Dell.

I am an AOL subscriber and I access the web through AOL using the Netscape (doesn't have to be Microsoft Explorer) browser. At this point, I am having trouble justifying staying with AOL since I pretty much just check my mail and then go to the web. I use little to none of the AOL content, and their stupid ads that pop up when you log on in an off-peak period are a pain in the butt.

If I were an AOL stockholder, comments such as my own would bother the heck out of me. I really don't see where they have anything that cannot be duplicated by other ISPs. I definitely do NOT feel like I am part of an AOL community any more than I feel like I'm part of a greater "web" community.

Regards,

Stephen
