Zuespaul, Error 29 on their web site only had a solution for Partition Magic.

My HD (C:) was 10.1GB, after using fdisk I was able to format the drive and install Win98 and DI. Then I proceeded to restore the image.

This time no errors. The image was 9 days old, but before I had the error, I copied all critical data to a separate folder on D: (seperate HD)

Once the image was restored, copied the critical data back and the computer works fine.

I'll have to call Power Quest and ask if certain programs like Norton Utilities could cause a conflict.

I use DI for backing up, and for up-to-date, I just copy critical data to a separate folder and a CDRW.

Scary thing I almost did, when I lost my 10.1GB C: drive, my 4.3GB D: became C:. I lost the other drive, computer would not see it, but getting back to the scary part, I was ready to format C: when I realized the size was 4.3GB.

Scared the sh*t out of me, I would have lost ALLOT of downloaded programs, tones of data getting ready to be copied onto CDR, not to mention the IMAGE.

Before I continued, I removed D: from the box, then went on with repairs. DID NOT want to take a chance on losing anything from that drive.

But, everything worked out 100%, no data loss.

WOW, interesting night last night.
