David - purely an opinion but scary.......

Just took a quick spin thru SEDAR site and looked at filings for the #211 - 470 Granville Street, Vancouver based co. (CPT Pemberton Technologies Ltd. PBT-vse)

It's not everyday you see investors relations staff in Switzerland representing a little oilpatch co. (just one property as far as I can see).

from Form 61 for period ended Jan. 31/99
"CPT Pemberton Tech. Ltd is in the business of exploration of oil and gas properties in Canada, specifically Alberta.

As per News Release of November 23, 1998, the Company decided not to proceed with the previously announced 1,200,000 unit Private placement.

CPT Pemberton Tech. Ltd. has terminated it's agreement with Marie Antoinette Shields.

Mr. Thomas Heinimann of Procan Investor Relations continues to represent the Company in Switzerland.

Possibly not really a big deal but a quick glance thru the Service and Supply Companies section of the 4th Qtr. Oil & Gas Index
(http://www.ogindex.com ) didn't list the consultant/mgmt. contractor group. As noted, possibly a tangent.......

Just initial impressions. Listed mgmt. folks also don't seem to have a bunch of recognizable oil experiences/companies noted.

Can't argue though with recent price move, closed at $0.84 today which is a scary (imo) double since Feb.
