what is next? we have had blockbuster rambus announcements in 10 days from... ibm nec tektronix intel cadence samsung kingston micron foxcon and a huge upgrade from morgan stanley. incredible! so what is next?? is the party over?? no!! not yet!!! i see...very soon...probably this month an announcement from cpq on alpha + rambus an announcement on k7 + rambus leaks from dell, cpq, ibm, gtwy that their tests with rambus are all ok. a little later...but soon. intel announcing volume chipset production probably next month. this announcement may be good for 50 points or more. the final short stampede will occur no later than here imo. sony releasing playstation II with rambus in asia. nintendo releasing their new gameset in the us. matsushita, panasonic and others announcing the next generation of consumer products including rambus on hdtv, dvd, scanners, copiers, etc. toshiba and sony announcing that their new $1 billion dollar rambus drdram production facility is up and running. intel announcing a rambus interface for the new strongarm asics. ibm similar announcement. texas instruments and others on expanding the product line using rambus in high speed telephone equipment. micron announcing volume rambus production. another 10-12 dram mfrs announcing volume rambus production. more test equipment shipping announcements. announcements from peripherals mfrs on numerous new products using rambus mostly graphics related. announcements that rambus is the memory of choice for set-top boxes. handhelds with rambus memory system. laptops with rambus. servers with rambus. more new analyst coverage and more upgrades. this week, rambus just got too big to ignore anymore. more institutional buying. rmbs' first split announcement. in 90 days, we will all be reading dell's rambus inside ads in usa today. you got a long way to go baby! unclewest
