That's entertainment

Brilliant Digital recently inked a deal with Warner Bros. to provide
programming for the Entertaindom site, including weekly episodes of its
3-D animated "Superman" series, in collaboration with DC Comics. The
Warner-owned entertainment portal set to launch this month will feature
weekly interactive original programming, including the magazine
"Drive-On," similar to "Entertainment Tonight."

Brilliant recently sold its weekly episodic serial "Gravity Angels" to
Showtime. Its other Internet shows are produced with 3-D animation
that resembles Pixar's "Toy Story" CGI work and include options where
viewers may determine how the show's plot proceeds. Titles in
production so far include "Xena: Warrior Princess" and "Ace Ventura:
Pet Detective."

"The traffic-building relationships are part of the game," says Brilliant's
prexy Kevin Bermeister. "They (Warner Bros.) will get numbers we can
only dream about. It's a whole new arena which puts your product on
the map."

In return, the studios get to expand their brands online.

"The focus is on entertainment," says Jim Banister, executive veep at
Warner Bros. Online, overseeing Entertaindom. "So far, the Internet
has been about obtaining information. Entertaindom is a platform to
showcase Internet-based entertainment properties that have a longer
life for the studio on the Internet, allowing us to bridge into an entirely
new area."

Adds Graff: "It's a good thing. We're all looking for eyeballs. We go to
the Net, because we get a lot of eyeballs."
