Lars,

Many thanks for the link to the Forbes article. I really should include Forbes in my surfing routine. They usually have pertinent and interesting articles.

Re: I agree that Birinyi has a good record. Your comment reminded me to link his latest Forbes article which I think is one of his best.

My favorite quote from the article:

"But learn, from AOL's recent history, about the way even high-quality Internet stocks behave: It plunged 41% last fall before rising 600%."

Re: Yeah it is but I still don't have the #@!!~ to go near these stocks. Ha!

Come on in, Lars, the water's fine.

Lars: Excellent link from Biriyni. This guy is smart. We should make it a point of posting his articles here every month. He is one of the best stock pickers around. No technical or fundamental analysis from what I can tell. Find the big money flow and follow before the price moves as a result. It's that simple.

Lars and other Birinyi watchers:
I looked at some current Birinyi picks which include a lot of brokerages. Interesting to note that some noted advisors today do not favor banks and brokerages in a rising interest rate environment; they don't do well. Although Birinyi is iteresting for his unique methods, how do we know that they work better than an index fund? Has someone shown this is some valid study?
