Thanks Linda for your many informative posts and efforts at keeping this thread alive. I like all that good press from the NY Times article.....
But, the author missed part of Pixar's leading edge...the fact that they have developed and patented their own process using lasers to produce the film itself for movie theatres. This may not be a big thing at the moment but it does give Pixar a good entry into 'digital theatre'. I'm sure there are more tech surprises coming from the R & D bunch. This leads me to the next question....has there been a date set for the annual meeting yet? I went last year and don't want to miss it, especially since I have doubled my stake in Pixar since then!

Lurking, always lurking.........

Linda, I am getting confusing information about PIXR and what role, if any, it has in the animation of Tarzan Movie. Can you or anyone else clear this up for me regarding PIXR's role in Tarzan. I saw Tarzan last night opening night. I give it 4 **** and it is going to be a blockbuster. I saw the trail for PIXR's Toy Story 2 and PIXR's name was quite visible for the plug-in for the movie coming Thanksgiving Weekend. Short trail, Maybe 15 to 30 seconds. I am long PIXR.

As for Tarzan, I think DIS is going to be a great play in here for buy and hold accounts.

Best, J.T.
