REDMOND, Wash., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Network Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSOL) and InfoSpace.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: INSP), a leading Internet infrastructure company, today announced a marketing agreement that allows Network Solutions and their ISP partners to provide their customers with the ability to instantly build a portal using InfoSpace.com's content and commerce solutions. Under this agreement these customers will be able to promote their Web sites on InfoSpace.com's extensive yellow pages and ActiveShopper distribution network. InfoSpace.com's affiliate network consists of more than 1,800 Web sites and Internet appliances. This agreement combines the companies' content, commerce and promotional services to make it easy for businesses and individuals to establish their Internet identities and quickly build and promote their Web sites.
As part of the two-year agreement:
* Network Solutions will integrate InfoSpace.com's "portal in a box" private label solution with its registration services for its customers and Internet Service Provider partners. InfoSpace.com provides Internet infrastructure services for commerce with ActiveShopper, community and personalization solutions such as address book, calendar and integrated content with broad appeal, such as maps, classifieds, real-time stock quotes, information on local businesses and events, weather forecasts and horoscopes, yellow pages and white pages * Network Solutions will also integrate InfoSpace.com's ActivePromotion merchandising solution which will give new domain name registrants an opportunity to be promoted through InfoSpace.com's yellow pages distribution network
